Support Policy

Custom Data Centre provides free support for problems that arise as a result of a defect in our software. However, we reserve the right to charge a fee for software support and for database recovery and repair services whenever the cause of a problem is found to lie outside of our software.

Custom Data Centre accepts no liability for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of our software. This policy is clearly stated in the user guides that accompany our software. Complete details of this policy can be found in the Maintenance And Support article in the software license agreement that also accompanies our software.

Once a software license is purchased, the user is entitled to support for their software. If a new major version of this software is released, support for the major version originally licensed will be terminated 60-days after the release of the new major version.

Software Upgrade Subscription Plans

Custom Data Centre offers a subscription plan for Canadian Asset Amortization Tool, Job Control, and NeatBooks Accounting. In exchange for the annual fee, subscribers receive all new versions of their software that are released within the subscription period. 

Users of software for which no upgrade subscription plan was purchased are eligible to receive minor version releases but will not receive any new major version releases for their software and will lose support for their software when a new major version is released.
